Winter Wonderland Trail – a yarn bombing trail around a community woodland

Remember to visit our beautiful, local Abbots Wood this December and discover the yarn bombing trail winding its way through the woodland. A mass of locally made knitted/crocheted squares have been collected to make the trail as well as usual and unusual, woodland based, knitted objects and animals!

Also at Abbots Wood an afternoon of Christmas Creations’

Festive Fun for All Ages in a Great Community Space

Explore the woods & walks « Roast chestnuts on an open fire « Construct a temporary art work from gathered natural material « Or maybe just observe it all and chat with a coffee or glass of mulled wine!

Meet at the entrance to the wood from The Brambles at 1pm or follow  “Christmas Creation” signs. 

Wear wellies and warm clothes. Perhaps bring a chair.

Starting at 6.30pm Holmoak Road shops, then procession to Queens Road 7pm Queens Road shops, followed by…. Refreshments – all welcome!!!!
