We had a fantastic day down at the Keynsham Music Festival!
On our stall we had; home-grown ornamental and productive plants/herbs/fruits, home-made woollen fruit, vegetable and flower badges, a badge-making machine, a ‘bad food’ info display and a ‘good food’ hamper full of local, organic veggies, home-grown plants, home-made elderflower cordial, foraged nettles and nettle soup recipes, country market cake + jams, fairtrade herbs and free range eggs and fruits from the Anna’s farm – mmmmmm! – despite our best efforts to buy all the raffle tickets somebody who is not yet a transition member won, which is great as she has never won anything and looked chuffed to bits!
We also raised £130 from raffle, badge and plant sale which will go into the kitty for future Transition plans. David and Martin from our Transport working group were also there with the bicycle demonstration, wearing out punters of the festival.
Thank you to all the people who helped to make our stall so brilliant, either through growing plants to sell, bringing produce for the hamper, packing down in the rain, helping out on the day, buying a raffle ticket and everything else that went into it!
Now we better get cracking to organise our stall at the Victorian Evening!
